It is great to see a steadily increasing flow of inquiries and donations coming in from individuals, institutions and corporate sponsors about AArk activities. We are very grateful for the generous support of all our donors. If you would like to help support a specific AArk project, here are a few suggestions. Please contact AArk Executive Director, Anne Baker for further information.
Conservation action planning workshops
More amphibian Conservation Needs Assessment workshops are planned over the coming months, and additional funding is sought to help cover participants’ air fares, and other costs associated with running these meetings. See the Conservation Needs Assessment Workshops page for more information about these workshops.
Ex situ conservation training workshops
For ex situ conservation training workshops in a range of countries. See the Husbandry Workshops and Husbandry Training pages for more information about our ex situ conservation training workshops.
Conservation grants
AArk has offered a range of conservation grants since 2009, predominantly start-up grants, for newly created ex situ programs, for species that have been assessed as in need of urgent ex situ rescue.
AArk officer support
The AArk has 2.5 full-time equivalent staff members. Some of their salaries are covered by supporting institutions (thanks to CPSG). However we would very much appreciate support for the rest, including:
- 100% of Program Director
- 100% of Taxon Officer
- 50% of Training Officer
