ASA Conservation Grants: ASA Conservation Grants promote the development of amphibian conservation projects, particularly linked to our priorities of habitat conservation, mitigating emerging infectious diseases, and communication. ASA Future Leaders of Amphibian Conservation Award: This program is an annual award to a number of early career conservationists from around the world who have been identified as Future Leaders of Amphibian Conservation. We are looking for individuals in the early stages of their career who have evidence of contributing to successful conservation initiatives in the past, and who wish to conduct or continue with a particular conservation project or research agenda that will directly improve the survival of amphibians in the wild. Caudata.org is an online community of caudate enthusiasts to promote learning and accurate information exchange about this taxon. The Caudata.org grant is an annual award utilizing funds raised by the group to support conservation of caudates. More information is available here.
The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund provides targeted $5,000-25,000 grants to individual species conservation initiatives and they have expressed an interest in seeing amphibian proposals.
Columbus Zoo continuously accepts applications for grants and emergency grants and has a strong record of supporting amphibian conservation work. For more information, contact Rebecca Rose, Field Conservation Coordinator.
Emergency funds are also available through Rapid Response Facility, Memphis Zoo and Disney’s Worldwide Conservation Fund.
